Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences' research unit Electria is developing a solar powered learning environment for developing countries. The 18-month Tekes-funded project was
launched in November 2012.
Suntrica is participating in this project by providing prototypes of our new SCOUT solar chargers.

Aalto in Africa -project 22.9.-17.10.2013
Aalto in Africa is a student-driven innovation project, taking 50 students, in addition to staff members and other partners from Aalto University through the Zambian wilderness all the way to
Cape Town, Southc Africa. Their goal is to learn from and co-create with local communities to achieve a unique learning experience.
Suntrica has provided solar chargers for the team of students. They will use them, donate them to locals and gather information on the use of personal solar energy in Zambia and South Africa.
